Tākuta/General Practitioner or Mātanga Tapuhi/Nurse Practitioner
Are you an experienced General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner and looking for a new challenge and sea change? If so, our role on the beautiful island of Waiheke could be the move that you’re seeking.
Waiheke Medical Centre are seeking either a General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner to join their busy and thriving team. This is a highly motivated and supportive team delivering primary health care and Acute Care. Waiheke Medical is open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm and is located in the main village of Oneroa. In addition to primary and acute services, they also work alongside a second site - Piritahi Hau Ora, which is a Kaupapa Māori primary health and social service provider. This is a full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday, with occasional after hours shifts.
This role would suit someone who has experience with, and a passion for, rural primary healthcare, acute healthcare, and Kaupapa Māori focussed health.
We are looking for someone who is:
A NZ Registered GP or Nurse Practitioner
Familiar with Indici
Available for 6 to 8 sessions per week
Willing to work in urgent care & General Medical Care Clinics
Experienced in Accident & Urgent Care, wound management and long-term conditions
You will be a self-directed person of initiative who is a great communicator and who enjoys working as part of a truly dedicated team.
